Balsam is an ecologically-minded tree and property service located in Delaware County, NY. We specialize in low-impact tree removal / site clearing using minimal heavy equipment, and only when it is necessary.

Balsam is owned and operated by Dylan Gliganic, a Franklin NY resident with experience in fields of interest such as fruit & nut cultivation, landscape management, conventional & natural building techniques, woodworking, and equipment operation. Dylan is also co-owner of Franklin Forest Farm, a medium-scale Agroforestry farm and tree nursery, thus is equipped to facilitate tree replacement projects and new plantings through his work with his own and other local nurseries.

Generally we work within Delaware and Otsego counties, however we accepted project requests from Broome, Chenango, Schoharie, Greene, Ulster and Sullivan counties as well.
